Sample the Real taste of Somerset Cider at Perrys Farmhouse Cider Visitor Centre and Rural Museum.               
Set in the picturesque Somerset village of Dowlish Wake, the cider mills and visitor centre still occupies the original family farm. Visitors can sample the atmosphere of old West Country life and the traditions of a working cider farm.
Visitors are welcome to amble leisurely around the large collection of cider making and farming equipment of yesteryear. The twin cider presses housed in the 16th Century thatched cider barn are on view all year round. Visitors are also welcome to sample the ciders FREE in the cider and farm shop.

Schedule: Lunch Time         Stop at a local inn for meal/refreshments.

Come and see the willow industry - from the Withy Bed to the Basket at Coates Willow & Wetlands Visitor Centre.
The Centre is owned and run by the Coate family, who have been growing willow on the Somerset Levels since 1819. Visitors will find a warm welcome and are invited to learn about the history and art of willow growing and basketmaking. The Centre was opened by David Bellamy in 1987 and has proved a huge tourism success for Somerset. Guided Tours of the workshops are available for those who want to see for themselves this fascinating craft. The tours take place on working days only, and cost £3.50 per head.
